                                                                                        Unusually coloured large plaques

                                                                                        The two brown-bordered plaques, as is often the case with sparsely decorated plaques, have traces of washed out pink lustre.  It is unlikely that the pink colour has been lost by rubbing.  The lustre might have faded in bright light or perhaps not have taken during the firing process.
