Portrait plaques

Three pink lustre portrait plaques.  The circular plaque titled 'GARIBALDI.' with an impressed mark, 'Dixon'.  Left rectangular plaque titled 'SIR R.PEEL.BART.' with a 'Dixon Phillips & Co' anchor mark. This plaque likely dates from 1850 to commemorate Peel's death. The third plaque, which is unmarked, is titled 'RICHARD COBDEN, M.P.'
Seven green portrait plaques, probably made in Staffordshire, circa 1902.  King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra on the left, and four generals who fought in the Boer War (1899–1902) on the right. These later plaques are beyond the scope of this site and can be found on Ian Holmes' United Collections website.
