But then I came across the image below on a blog: http://spitalfieldslife.com/2009/12/25/greetings-from-spitalfields/ If you have a few hours to while away over the holiday, you could do a lot worse than take a peek at this fabulous website. Spitalfields Life explores as diverse subjects as religion, night life, cats (a particular favourite of mine; I have four) and crime, in the East End of London. There are lots of great photos. My congratulations to The Gentle Author for such a fantastic project, and thank you for letting me use the photo below. Merry Christmas to everyone who visits Mate Sound the Pump. Who knows what plaques will turn up in 2013!

12/2/2012 0 Comments Appeal for a photoI came across the image below while searching the internet. I'd love a good photo of the circular verse plaque, which appears to be by C.C.& Co. They came up for auction in the UK on November 2004. If you own one like it, please get in touch!
